In October 2012 Harcourts Marlborough secured the rights to market the Marlborough District Council’s residential subdivision development located off Taylor Pass Road in Blenheim. The Boulevard Park on Taylor Development is a 350 lot, staged residential subdivision with a gross sale value of approximately $70 million.
It is located adjacent to Council’s completed 200 lot Forest Park Views residential subdivision and Council’s recreational Farm Park which provides numerous public walking and cycling tracks.
Ben Macky was appointed as Harcourts manager with total responsibility for presentation and marketing of the Boulevard Development. Marketing of the Boulevard has gone extremely well under Ben’s guidance with over 128 lots already released to the market and an additional 40 lots due to be released very shortly.
One of Ben’s roles was to present all contracts to Council on Harcourts behalf and to provide market updates to Council’s commercial holding company that manages the development on Council’s behalf. Both of these important aspects have been carried out professionally and diligently.
Ben’s approach has always been honest, motivating and most importantly factual, based on well researched data. His rapport with local housing franchises has been first class and his departure to Auckland will leave a large industry and knowledge gap for the building sector.
