A little about me

My principle is “do the right thing.”

When you entrust me with the sale of your home, I know it is my duty to ensure that you get the best price for an asset you have put so much effort and commitment into. To that end, I will advise you on the best way to present your home for sale and on a marketing approach that can most effectively reach buyers looking for the qualities embodied in your property.

A key element in obtaining the highest price for your home is to present it to the market looking its absolute best. It is also crucial that your property is marketed to be seen by those most likely to be attracted to it, to want to view it and – most importantly – to make an offer to buy it. This selectivity makes the most of your marketing budget and focusses on identifying buyers ready and committed to purchasing.

I have a down to earth friendly approach, combined with a keen intellect. I enjoy researching the market thoroughly and then using this knowledge to help you, as my client, get the highest price for your home.

I have always strived to be of service to those I work for. Usually this has involved representing them in negotiations with other parties, often at Tribunals where I advocated for their rights.  I worked in hospitals in the UK for 7 years, helping patients claim public assistance (welfare benefits) when they were substantially disabled and unable to work for periods of time. I went on to qualify as a Social Worker and for 6 years I acted as liaison for a private sector provider of brain injury rehabilitation, dealing with NHS and Social Service managers to facilitate discharge packages for clients who had sustained severe brain injuries. I went on to sell (and present) training packages on NHS law, to solicitors dealing with personal injury claims.

I met my Kiwi partner in the UK in 2011 and moved to NZ with her, being granted permanent residence in 2015. I became fascinated with the real estate market in Auckland in 2016 and decided to study to qualify as a salesperson.

Having qualified in 2017, I now look forward to offering you a top quality service in selling your home and, perhaps, finding you another one in your chosen new locale.
