A little about me

Matthew was introduced to the Real Estate industry after completing his Bachelor of Business Degree (Majoring in Marketing and Advertising) and gaining experience working for a creative and marketing agency in the exciting advertising industry. Matt has a unique set of skills that will help your property to stand out from the crowd in a competitive online market.

Growing up in Auckland’s Hibiscus Coast and in his later years moving to the North Shore, Matthew has a very proficient and passionate understanding of his area and the market today.

A founding member of Wallace & Stratton Real Estate right from the start, Matthew has truly helped form the company into what it is today. He takes an important role within the company and has proven his ability to handle complex situations, responsibility, business and people.

Matthew has been continually working hard in the Real Estate industry under the wing of Wallace & Stratton Director, Ben Macky. Having gained valuable skills in negotiation and an in-depth knowledge of the Real Estate market and the processes involved, Matt knows how to ensure you secure the best possible return on your investment.

Why did you choose to get into Real Estate?
Being able to get to know, build relationships and help people from all walks of life in possibly the biggest decision of their lives is an amazing and unique experience. Also, Real Estate being a performance-based industry, really is was what drew me into this choice of profession.

What’s a stand out factor about Wallace & Stratton that you like?
The company environment, there is a consistent mood of legitimacy with the brand and everyone who works here. The people are genuine and everyone likes to help each other within the company. Really a rare find in the Real Estate Industry nowadays. I truly feel very blessed to be working in such a friendly, welcoming and rapidly growing company. 

What’s an ideal weekend for you?
Friday’s setting myself up for the weekend work Real Estate entails, making sure my clients are kept up to date with the structure and plan of the weekend ahead. Once complete either a nice dinner with my girlfriend or a few drinks with some close friends. Saturday open homes are to follow and if not presented a few phone calls in an order to promote business or sales from my clients, Sundays are always open homes followed by a well needed wind-down by relaxing at home or catching up with family.
